i awoke this morning to nearly two hundred Message Frozen mails from the mail server at work.. logged in and saw 17k sitting in the queue awaiting delivery.. yikes!!
found that it was all spam, same damn message.. whacked all those from the queue, looked to see if we had an open relay, fuck.. our junior tech was assigned to setup SMTP authentication for our Outlook-using employees, and must have left something open.. commented out his changes, verified that the relay was closed, and went on with my day.
Most definitely NOT the way to start a morning.
